In our previous article on the topic—Why Does Vehicle Advertising Really Work?—we explained how vehicle advertising is one of the most effective marketing tools available for businesses.
Considering that we are exposed to an average of 3,000 ads per day*, advertisers must work harder than ever to stand out visually.
That’s why the team at Duo Énergie Graphique – Lettreur Nord-Sud is sharing its best tips and tricks to help you create impactful and profitable vehicle advertising.
1. Choose a Clean Vehicle That Reflects Your Brand
Your vehicle or trailer is the medium that carries your brand image and message.
For this reason, it’s essential to choose a clean, well-maintained vehicle that reflects your business. For example, lettering or wrapping a rusty vehicle is not recommended, as it can negatively impact your brand image.
Also, select a vehicle that matches your business reality. If you’re a contractor visiting construction sites, branding a small compact car may not reflect your company’s identity—your 4×4 would be a better choice.
2. Refresh Your Lettering or Wrap
To maintain a strong and professional image, we recommend refreshing your vehicle lettering or wrap every two years.
This ensures your mobile advertising never looks outdated or neglected.
3. Be Aware of Applicable Regulations
There are no laws prohibiting vehicle lettering. However, commercial vehicles must have the appropriate license plate—typically starting with the letter “F.”
4. Maximize Your Vehicle Advertising
Summer is here—and that means events everywhere: festivals, drag races, concerts, sporting events, and more!
Take advantage of these opportunities by parking your branded vehicle in high-traffic areas:
Make sure to bring additional marketing materials to maximize your visibility:
-
Business cards
-
Brochures
-
