Since 1947, the auto center specializing in tires, mechanical services, and performance parts in Bécancour—Garage Blanchette—has been offering tire sales and installation, mechanical services, as well as the sale and installation of performance parts for cars and trucks.

Originally established in Saint-Grégoire under the name Garage F. Blanchette, this local tradition has evolved over the years. Today, the business is known as Blanchette Tires, Mechanics and Performance (Blanchette PMP)—a rebranding initiated by Daniel Blanchette, representing the third generation, in the fall of 2013.
